The lodge has its own entrance and consists of a large downstais bedroom with a king sized double bed and patio doors leading on to a shaded spot on a large wooden decking area with views across the gardens and grazing sheep in a field.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads to a spacious upstairs room with a bed, sofa and dining area as well as a small kitchen and recently moderised bathroom.

The Lodge has a strict non-smoking policy.
The accommodation is very suitable for people suffering from allergies as all internal materials used are organic and natural. There is also an electro smog barrier to all electric wiring and the whole house including the main building are set up around green aspects with solar enegery, composting toilets and many more such features.
From the Lodge, you can reach the forrest in 1 minute on foot, to get to the town sentre it is a 15 minute walk or 2 minutes by car. There is a regular bus service and Witzenhausen also has a train station, connecting it to the main cities Goettingen and Kassel which can be reached in under an hour.
Activities available in the area include canoeing, walking, bird watching, cultural shows and galleries, several festivals throughout the year. The town has a small cinema and several restaurants and bars.
